The attached catalogue is filled with poinsettias of different sizes, colours and special arrangements that will instantly spread the warmth and love of Christmas to all who enter the room. DiaMed/Epilepsy Mississauga Golf Tournament

On June 15, 2006 at Granite Ridge Golf Club golfers participating in this year’s DiaMed/Epilepsy Mississauga’s golf tournament enjoyed a day of great golf, fun and good food, and we raised over $8,750 for our children’s programs. Well done ! ! This tournament has become the largest third party money raiser for Epilepsy Mississauga. We would like to gratefully acknowledge the commitment and dedication that Derek Johnson, Richard Sharman and their DiaMed team put into this tournament every year.
A special thanks also to the volunteers who came out and made the day run like clock-work, Teresa Maslach, Dee Esposito, and Oliver Sui.

Hooters- Brampton Stallions Car Wash

Bring that dirty car or truck down to Hooters at 252 Queen Street East in Brampton on Saturday July 29 from 1-4, have it washed by the Hooter girls and members of the Brampton Stallions. (Rain Day will be Sunday 10-2). A donation will be made to Epilepsy Mississauga to support the children who live with epilepsy. The more cars and trucks they wash…. the bigger the donation so tell all your friends, neighbours and bring out every vehicle you have to make the day a success.

Glad Days

August is GLAD month! The “Give Light And Dreams” campaign was introduced in 1982 by Ms. Beth Parker, a women living with Epilepsy. During the month of August Gladioli (Glads) are pre-sold to raise funds to heighten public recognition and understanding of epilepsy and to bring renewed hope to all those living with the disease.

Epilepsy Mississauga will be contacting local businesses and corporations, in July asking them to pre-order gladiolas to support our children’s programs. GLADS are $6.00 per bunch or a Super-sized bunch for just $11.00 and will be delivered August 10 (or 11, depending on the number of orders. The deadline for pre-orders is July 28 so don’t be disappointed. Tell your friends to get their orders in a.s.a.p.
